Keep obligations individual.

An operator needs to know which tenant owes which amount for which period, even when several people share a home. Use a separate identifiable request and preserve the tenant, amount, due date and property context.

Do not use Split as a generic label for dividing household rent. CasaPay Split means paying one amount in two payments. Share means contributions between people.

Plan the move-in decision.

Students and international tenants may need optional evidence, guarantor or no-deposit routes. Show only the services available to that tenant and market, with the fee and terms before agreement.

A requested check is not completed verification, and asking for guarantor details does not establish active cover. The operator retains the tenancy decision.

Prepare for peak intake.

Academic and city intake periods concentrate support, payment and evidence work. Test the tenant journey, train support teams and define exception owners before the peak.

Use a pilot cohort to find missing instructions, unsupported methods and back-office handoffs while the volume is manageable.

Reconcile the household and portfolio.

Individual requests make matching easier, but exceptions still occur. Keep partial amounts, contributions, duplicates and unmatched references visible without altering the underlying obligation silently.

At portfolio level, group work by building, due date and exception reason while preserving the individual tenant record.

Measure the full journey.

Track completion of requested evidence, accepted optional services, first successful payment, exception rate, time to reconciliation and support demand. Review results by intake cohort and market.

Do not report an operator outcome without customer permission and a comparable baseline.

Questions operators ask.

Can co-tenants pay together?

Payment and contribution options depend on the supported workflow. Keep each tenant obligation and confirmed event identifiable.

Is CasaPay Split for dividing rent between housemates?

No. Split means Pay in 2. Share concerns contributions between people.

Can international students use a guarantor service?

Potentially, subject to market availability, eligibility, operator acceptance and agreed terms.

Does CasaPay replace a student-accommodation platform?

No. CasaPay connects rental-finance workflows and can work alongside supported platforms.
