Adding a guarantor requirement to a RentLink asks the tenant to review and provide the required details. It does not mean the tenant has been accepted or that cover is active.
Eligibility, the guarantee amount, evidence, limits, exclusions and dispute handling must be agreed for the portfolio and market. The operator retains control over accepting the route for a tenancy.
When the service is accepted, the relevant guarantor context stays linked to the rent workflow instead of living in a separate form or inbox. Operators can review outstanding amounts and eligible payout status together.
Standard eligible guarantor payout timing is due date +30 days under the current operator proposition. On-time is an optional paid upgrade that brings eligible timing to due date +1 day. Both remain subject to agreed limits, evidence, dispute review and applicable terms.
