Resolve the contract and workflow questions before treating payment protection as part of the operating plan.
Name the rent or other payment that can qualify, the tenancy types, properties, tenant conditions, period and maximum amount. Confirm whether taxes, fees, damages or legal costs are included or excluded.
Use the same definitions in the operator agreement, tenant communication, product interface and reporting.
State which due date and payment-status event starts review, which evidence the operator must supply and how partial payment affects eligibility.
An overdue label alone should not be the only basis. Preserve the original request, confirmed payment events, communication and any dispute.
Document who reviews a disputed obligation, the response period, escalation path and effect on payout timing. Explain recovery rights after a payout and what the tenant remains responsible for.
Do not describe the product as no-claim, risk-free or unconditional if the agreement includes review, evidence, limits or recourse.
Distinguish the date an eligible payout becomes due, the date routing begins and the date funds settle. Confirm whether days are calendar or banking days before publishing a promise.
CasaPay's current operator proposition uses due date +30 days under Collect and +1 day with On-time for eligible guarantor payouts, subject to agreed conditions. Banking-day interpretation remains an approval item.
Name who maintains tenant and payment data, reviews exceptions, supplies evidence, approves material changes, handles disputes and communicates with landlords and tenants.
Test the process end to end with a realistic case before expanding the protected portfolio.
No. Guaranteed-rent management usually changes the property operating relationship; payment protection applies under a defined contract.
Not unless the agreement and system event confirm that meaning. Due, routed and settled can be different stages.
Only in an approved context that cannot be mistaken for a universal or unconditional promise.
Product, commercial, operations and legal owners for the target market, plus the operator's responsible implementation owner.
